Who makes this stuff?
Just a year ago, while scrolling through a sleek app interface on my phone, something clicked. “Who makes this stuff? How do they decide what goes where?”
That single question led me down the rabbit hole of UI/UX design.
I started small—free YouTube tutorials, messy Figma boards, late nights studying color theory and typography. My weekends became filled with redesign challenges and mock projects: a fitness app here, a fashion website there. Slowly, pixels turned into purpose.
Six months in, I built my first case study for a budgeting app. It wasn’t perfect, but it showed thought, structure, and style. By month eight, I joined design communities, got feedback, and started freelancing for small brands.
Now, one year later, I just hit publish on my first real portfolio. It’s clean, bold, and tells a story-My story. Each project reflects not just skills, but growth, empathy, and intentional design.
I am still learning. Still growing. But no longer asking who makes this stuff?
Now I proudly says, I do.
